I don’t know about you, but how do you know when is the right time to change your child’s car seat? As a mom of two girls, who of whom is 5 almost 6 and so ready to be out of her “baby seat,” when is the right time to change to a booster, and how long do they have to be in car seats?
There’s a lot more rules and regulations when it comes to Children’s car seats now a days. Infant car seats are supposed to rear facing, and you are supposed to keep them rear facing for 2 years. You aren’t supposed to buckle them in with their winter coats. Then they are supposed to be in a booster seat till a certain age, height or weight. That’s a lot to know right? Well I stumbled upon this website (link below) that answers all those questions, plus there is a calculator in there that will help to give you a better idea of which kind of seat your child so be in! Hope this was helpful! I found it helpful for my own kids!
